Church-Related Schools (CRS)
This is a list of Tennessee Church-related Schools (CRS) which currently enroll home-schooled children. Since a number of these schools allow statewide enrollment, every home school family has the option to enroll with a church-related school rather than the state through the local superintendent. Tennessee homeschoolers can be very thankful for these organizations which provide us with this legal option. If you are enrolled with one of these schools, please do your utmost to fulfill your responsibilities to them.

Special Notes: Calvary Christian School offers enrolls students from K5 -- 12 grade. They use Bob Jones curriculum. They have been a school for 25+ years. They have been a Church-Related School for home schoolers for 2 years. They do not require you to use a specific curriculum, but they do require a signed Statement of Faith. They are a member of TACS and they do require testing for grades 2, 5, and 7. Parents may test at other grade levels if they desire. They use the Stanford Achievement Test. They operate their home school program under the Jeter Memorandum, by considering their home school students and home educating parents to be equal to and having the same accountability as their day students/faculty. They do provide a teacher card and home school students are allowed to participate in several activities along with the day students.
